Creative launches Vado Pocket Video Cam

Creative has released a videocamera for the Youtube lovers. This cam is to make the publishing and distibuting of videos's a lot easier. The Vade Pocket Video Cam weighs less than 90 grams, easily fitting in a pocket. The camera is capable of recording video and audio on VGA resolution (640x480) with 2x digital zoom, storing the data on the internal 2GB memory, which is sufficient for up to two hours of MPEG-4 or AVI movies recorded with 30fps. The built-in 2" display and speaker allow for playback while on the go.

Once at home, this device can be connected through USB and the footage, with the possibility to upload directly to YouTube or Photobucket using the integrated software. The camera is powered through a reloadable battery pack which can be removed. The Vado is available in metallic silver or pink at a recommended price of around 100 euro. Only time will tell if the Vado is able to compete with the numerous cellphones that have integrated camera's. More information can be found on the productpage.
