MSI's Wind notebook, the ASUS Eee PC rival, will be available in Europe shortly. The compact laptop will feature an Intel Atom processor running at 1.6 GHz. It is expected that the 10 inch Wind with 80 GB hard disk will cost between €400,- and €450,-. The 8.0 inch version should be available at the end of Q2 for a price that starts at €299,-.

The MSI Wind won't just be available in the silver color shown on the IDF and CeBIT 2008, but also in black and pink. According to MSI the notebook should run up to seven hours on it's battery.
