Dell has revealed a new desktop XPS computer, the XPS 730 H2C. This system is the follow-up of the XPS 730 and can be equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad and even Core 2 Extreme. The used chipset is nVidia's 790 Ultra SLi, meaning Dell packs DDR3 memory with this computer, with a minimum of 2GB. Concerning the graphics cards there can be chosen fro a variety of ATI and nVidia models, under which the HD 3870, HD3870 X2,  GeForce 8800GT and the GeForce 8800GTS 512.

This computer allows room for four hard disks with a capacity of up to 2GB, has the option to add a Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer soundcard, and a 1kW power supply to keep everything up and running. The processor and northbridge are cooled with a hybrid liquid cooling solution.

The base configuration prices lie between 3999 and 5999 US Dollar, still allowing possibilities to tweak these systems.
