DFI warns her customers for counterfeit motherboards that have been spotted on the Indonesian market. It concerns two models: the MCP73V and the MCP68PV. Neither of the products is made by DFI and therefore have no warranty. The first motherboard looks a lot like an nVidia reference design, whereas the second one looks like a Gigabyte board.

As expected DFI has taken action and forced the concerned to stop the sales of these boards. It is unlikely that the United Kingdom will be affected by these counterfeits; neither of the models are available in our price comparison and are probably unavailable.
