Memory manufacturer Corsais has introduced a new 8 GB DDR2 memory kit. The kit, consisting of four modules will be branded Q2X8G6400C4DHX and uses Corsair's Dual-Path Heat Xchange (DHX) technology.
The kit uses the same modules as the dual channel TWIN2X2048-6400C4DHX memory kit, being the CM-2X2048-6400C4DHX modules. The kit has four modules, each with a capacity of 2 GB and a latency of 4-4-4-12. According to Corsair, these modules are perfectly suited to run at a speed of 800 MHz.
Corsair provides a lifetime warranty with the 8 GB memory kit and it's expected to be released later this month. The price isn't known yet.
