Conceptronic: the ultimate mediaplayer?

Conceptronic presents the Media Titan, a 300 MBps 11n wireless HD mediaplayer and harddiskrecorder with two integrated DVB-T tuners. The Media Titan can play XviD, WMV9, MPEG 1/2/4, AVI, ISO and VOB formats, and also record in these. 1080p HD movies such as H.264 MKV are also supported. In the area of photo's and music, BMP GIFF, JPEG, PNG, MP3, OGG, WAV and WMA (VBR) are supported. The material can be played from the local harddisk or from the network. The Media Titan lives up to the DLNA 1.5 standard and has a UPnP AV-client. This means that every user on the network can stream and copy pictures, music and videos from a pc or NAS-storage device with UPnP AV-server, both cabled and wirelessly. 

The tuner supports the pausing of tv (time shifting). According to Conceptronic, the Media Titan seperates itself due to its simple design. The remote has a scrollwheel and 11 navigation buttons. The electronic program guide features an overview of programs that are aired right now and later by the different channels.

The Media Titan has 3 USB-ports to connect external storage devices, such as a USB-stick or external hard disk. It is able to directly play these files on the TV. The image is processed to the TV through an HDMI-connection. The Media Titan also has an SPDIF sound output for the 5.1 Dolby Surround sound. 

The Conceptronic Media Titan will become available by the end of September in both a version with as a version without 802.11n WiFi.
