MSI recently announced a new watercooled graphics card, based on nVidia's GeForce GTX 280 chip. The new card will be named MSI N280GTX OC HydroGen and will, as the name suggests, be an overclocked version of the GTX 280.
A reference 280GTX has a corespeed of 602 MHz and a memory frequency of 1107 MHz. The N280GTX OC Hydrogen has its core clocked at 700MHz and the memory at 1150 Mhz. MSI claims that the watercooled card is the highest clocked GTX280 graphics card. Because of the high frequencies, the card would perform up to 17% better than a reference model, and up to 7% better than MSI's last overclocked GTX 280. To sufficiently cool the card, it has a single slot copper "micro channel" waterblock. The fact that it only takes up a single slot, makes it well suited for multi-card setups. Even though the card is overclocked, the cooling block should still keep the card up to ten degrees cooler than the reference cooler could.
MSI has not yet announced when the N280GTX OC HydroGen will become available, and what it'll cost. Detailed specifications can be found on MSI's website.
