Creative has announced three new speakersets: the GigaWorks T40 Series II, the GigaWorks T20 Series II and the GigaWorks T3. The new models of the T40 and T20 are enhanced versions of their predecessors and according to Creative, they have a refined design and acoustic capacities. Creative also adds the BasXPort-technology, which combines dynamic with a full bass sound, without requiring an additional subwoofer. The tweeters features a silk dome and a conus of woven fiber glass, which should account for a crystal clear sound.

The GigaWorks T40 Series II speakers have two woofers with those glass fiber conuses and a tweeter with a cloth dome. The speakers are to be placed in an MTM-configuration (midrange-tweeter-midrange) to reach their optimal performance.

The GigaWorks T20 Series II speakers are updated with the BasXPort-technology. Thanks to two inputs, they can be connected to a PC or MAC and an MP3-player simultaneously, without having to switch the cables.

The GigaWorks T3 speakers are also suited for use with the PC, MAC or MP3-player. According to Creative the T3 combines design with quality components. The subwoofer is based on the Creative SLAM design (Symmetrically Loaded Acoustic Module) and finetuned to provide a balanced music experience.

The Creative GigaWorks T3 uses the Low Standby Power-technology which minimizes the energy consumption in standby-mode. The back has a line-in port to connect the speakers to a soundcard or PC, a volumeknob to alter the basstones and connectors for satellite speakers. The T3 comes with a wired remote control and a touch-sensitive precision volume knob which also functions as a power/standby button. The remote has inputs for headphones and an aux to connect portable mediaplayers. 

The GigaWorks T3 will be available by the end of September at a recommended price of  €199,-. The GigaWorks T20 II and T40 will become available somewhere in October and bear respective prices of €90,-. and €129,-.
