Memory manufacturer Patriot has launched new modules in its DDR3 Viper serie. The memory has an effective frequency of DDR3-2000 with 9-9-9-24 latencies at a 2.0V voltage. The modules features a green aluminum heatspreader and support Enhanced Performance Profiles 2.0 (EPP 2.0).

Patriot's new PC3-16000 memory will come in dual channel kits of 2 and 4 GB. Both kits have a lifetime warranty, the recommended prices aren't known yet.
