Chaintech: SSD's as you see fit

Chaintech introduces a new line of SSD's, the Apogee Industrial Storage series. AS the name suggests, the disks are aimed at industrial use. For the user at home, it's a taste of what's to come in the near future. 

The company launches 1.8" Micro S-ATA II, 1.8" SATA II, 2.5" SATA II, 1.8" P-ATA and 2.5" P-ATA drives, all solid state. The SSD's will be available in 16, 32 and 64 GB as well as a 128 GB version. According to Chaintech, the disks can read up to 120 MB/s and have an MTBF of 2 million hours. The 1.8" Apogee P-ATA SSD comes bundled with a ZIF adaptor, making it possible to connect the 1.8" disk with a full-size P-ATA connector.
