The NT01-E has a copper construction and is able to cool procesors with a TDP of 65 Watt up to 89 Watt properly. The latter does require a fan. The cooler is compatible with Intel's LGA775 socket and AMD's socket 754, 939, 940 and AM2. It can be mounted on the processor is any wished direction and can function passively, as well as with one or two 60 mm fans.

Compared to the last model, the cooling surface of the NT06-E has more than doubled. It is suited to cool processors with a TDP of up to 130 Watt on Intel's LGA775 socket or AMD's 754, 939, 940 and AM2 sockets. By leaving a fan out of the bundle, SilverStone allows the user to pick a 120 mm as preferred. The CPU-cooler can also be used passively, of course.
