Kingston has added a new 32 GB Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) model to its Elite Pro serie. Kingston reports that due to its size, the memory card is perfectly suited for use in HD-videocamera's and high-resolution digital camera's.

The SDHC cards in the Elite Pro serie have dimensions of 24 x 32 x 2.1 mm and come in capacities of 4, 8, 16 and now 32 GB. With the Speed Class 4 label, Kingston guarantees a transit speed of atleast 4 MByte/sec. The cards also feature a switch to prevent accidental erase of data.

All memory cards in the Elite Pro SDHC line-up have a lifetime warranty. The 32 GB model has a recommended price of  €173,- (excl. VAT) and should become available soon.
