Recently, the first Ultra Low-Cost PC (ULPC or netbook), based on an AMD processor has appeared on the Korean market.
The netbook, branded Everun Note, features a dual core AMD Turion X2 processor, clocked at 1.2GHz to decrease the power consumption. The 7 inch screen has a resolution of up to 1024 x 600 pixels and an integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam. The netbook uses 802.11b/g and BlueTooth and comes with a 60 GB hard disk. This hard disk however, can be replaced by a 12 GB Solid State Drive (SSD). The netbook comes with a pre-installed Windows XP and weighs 742 grams.

The Everun Note will first be introduced on the Korean and American market in September, the price isn't known yet.
