A lot of people don´t take the mouse with them if they move a laptop. Logitech wants to solve this and comes with the Logitech V550 cordless laser mouse for notebooks. The compact mouse features the Clip-and-Go dock. This mechanism allows the V550 mouse to easily be attached to the notebook.

The V550 Nano comes with the plug-and-forget nano-receiver. The nano-receiver is practically invisible on the side of the computer, sticking out only 8 mm. Because of this, it's unnecessary to detach the receiver when placing the notebook in a laptop bag.

Logitech claims a period of up to eightteen months before the battery needs a recharge. The V550 Nano has a switch which automatically deativates the mouse when it's in the cradle or when the receiver is stored inside the mouse.

The mouse comes in two colors, grey with silver accents and silver with blue accents. Each new Logitech V550 mouse is bundled with two Clip-and-Go docks, both a silver and a black version.

The new cordless laser mouse for notebooks will become available in the end of August and bears a recommended price of  €49,99. The V550 works with both PC as Mac computers and the Clip-and-Go dock is compatible with almost all notebooks.
