You can never have enough cooling in the hot summer. Thermaltake responds to this and introduces the RamOrb memory cooler. As the name suggests, the cooler keeps your DDR and DDR2 memory modules cooled. According to Expreview, a DDR3 version will follow later this year.
The cooler weighs 136 grams and consists of an aluminum heatsink with a 6mm thick embedded heatpipe. At the end of this heatpipe sits a small 50mm fan spinning at 4500 rpm. Thermaltake claims that the fan produces about 20dBA of sound, has an air displacement of 8,2 CFM and an average lifetime of 50.000 hours.
