Gigabyte introduces a new micro ATX motherboard, based on Intel's G45 + ICH10R chipset. The EG45M-DS2H uses the integrated GMA X4500 graphics on this chipset and has D-sub, DVI and HDMI connectors.
The motherboard supports 45nm LGA775 processors and according to Gigabyte it can be overclocked to a 1600 MHz FSB. In the four memory slots DDR2 of up to 1066 MHz (with overclock) can be placed. The Realtek ALC889A codec takes care of the HD audio and the 1000 Mbit LAN is done by Realtek's 8111c. A TPM is also present.
The EG45M-DS2H features two PCI slots, one PCIe x1 slot and one x16-sized PCIe x4 slot for the graphics card. Up to six SATA 3 Gb/s disks can be connected (under which one eSATA) and placed in RAID. There's also two firewire and twelve USB 2.0 ports available.
Gigabyte also gives the motherboard the ability to feature a Dual BIOS in order to compensate failed flashes. More information and specifications can be found on the product page.
