ASUS has announced a new 22 inch LCD monitor, the LS221H, According to the company, the LS221H is world's thinnest 22" LCD monitor, being only 45mm thick. The new screen features a glass plate which reflects less than 2% of the light. The plate is to provide a bright screen and vivid colors.

The ASUS LS221H has a dynamic contrast of 4000:1 and a response time of 2ms. The horizontal viewing angle lies at 170 degrees, with the vertical one at 160 degrees. The monitor has both VGA and HDMI connectors and should be available by the next month at a recommended price of about €370,-.
