Microsoft is reneweing its Sidewinder mouse. The X5 Sidewinder looks just like its predecessor at first, but no longer features the seperate weights and sensitivity LCD.

The new X5 has nine programmable buttons, hardware DPI switching and a quicklaunch shortcut. Thanks to the lack of certain functionalities, this version will be cheaper than the previous. It should be available soon and has a recommended price of US $59,95.
