In the first quarter of 2009, a refresh of the RD790 is planned, this time with DDR3 support. We know the RD790 from the current 790FX + SB600 chipset and the to be released 790FX + SB750 chipset. The RD790 will be followed up in the second quarter of 2009 by the RD890, which will be linked to the new SB800 southbridge. Both DDR3-chipsets are marked in white, which means that the chipsets will not feature an integrated GPU. The RS880 will have DDR3 support and an integrated GPU.| Related news |
