Lian Li introduces two new HTPC cases: the Muse C36 and C37. Both cases have a sleek low-profile design, the dimensions being only 435mm x 94mm x 378 mm, they offer room to one 5.25-inch optical drive and two 3.5-inch harddisks. The Muse C37 supports micro-ATX motherboards and a standard ATX PS/2 PSU, but only has room for low-profile graphics cards.
The Muse C36 (shown below), has a bit more room. This case also supports the micro-ATX motherboards, but comes with a standard 300W TFX PSU. The support bar is to reinforce the case, but can easily be removed to create a working space. Remarkable are the two swappable back panels; one of which offers room to four low profile graphics cards, whereas the other supports two full-size PCI-E cards using a bundled riser card.
Both models are made out of aluminum and have frontpanel USB 2.0-, Firewire 1394- and audioports. To remain silent, anti-vibration spring clips and rubber rings have been used for the harddisks. Multiple meshes and a 70mm (1.500RPM) fan are increase the case's airflow.
