Sapphire today introduces a new entry level card for the X1950 series, the X1950GT. As all other cards from the series the X1950GT supports HDR with adaptive anti-aliasing, plug and play CrossFire , Avivo technology and HD playback.

The core of the card runs at 500MHz, the 256MB GDDR3 memory at 1200MH. The card has two DVI ports, of which one is a dual link and supports resolutions up to 2560 x 1600. The card sports 36 shader units and is Microsoft WIndows Vista ready. Full specs can be read on the Sapphire website .

Sapphire claims immediate availability of the card, official pricing however has not been disclosed.
