By supporting dual band 2.4GHz and 5GHz, the latest Nfiniti wireless-N router allows consumers to select one band for basic networking such as e-mail, internet browsing and PC gaming, and utilise the other band for heavy file transfers simultaneously. Both bands are based on draft 802.11n, which is ideal for streaming multimedia content at speeds of up to 300Mbps.
In addition, the AirStation Wireless-N Nfiniti Dual Band Router is backward compatible with the existing Wi-Fi standards (802.11a/b/g). It is also the only two-in-one wireless device on the market today with an external switch, which easily allows the product to be used as either a router or access point.

AirStation Wireless-N Nfiniti Dual Band Router (WZR-AG300NH)
With the ability to reach data rates near 300Mbps (Marvell Chipset) and a four port 10/100/1000 gigabit Ethernet switch, the new router offers stability for wireless streaming of applications that demand greater bandwidth such as VoIP or high definition video. Because of the product's dual band support, the new Nfiniti router should reduce interference with other wireless devices and offers enhanced wireless range. The router also now supports QoS, which manages the priority of users and data.
AirStation Wireless-N Nfiniti Dual Band Wireless Notebook Adapter (WLI-CB-AG300N)
Buffalo 's new Notebook Adapter is a 32-bit CardBus card, which is compatible with any notebook PC with a Type II or Type III PC card slot and has dual band capabilities.
Unique to these Buffalo products is the technologically advanced AOSS (One-Touch Secure System) , providing a simple and secure one-touch wireless setup system. Both products also include WPS. For additional security, the devices incorporate advanced security features such as WPA2, WPA-PSK with AES/TKIP, 128/64-bit WEP, Dynamic Packet Filtering and NAT, Intrusion Detector, as well as SPI Firewall.
Limited by two-year warranty, the AirStation Nfiniti dual band Gigabit Router & Access Point (WZR-AG300NH) and AirStation Nfiniti dual band Gigabit Adapter (WLI-CB-AG300N) will be available in late January at an estimated street price (ex VAT) of £162 for the router and £85 for the adapter.
