AOC launches new entry-level 17-inch TFT LCD

AOC launches the 172S. As its predecessor LM760, the 17-inch TFT LCD should convince price-concious beginners without abstaining from basic monitor equipment. Equipped with technical features of the small office/home office (SoHo) series, the TFT of the AOC standard line mainly feature in a both basic and functional design. Due to its small dimensions (375x160x382 mm), the monitor can be placed almost everywhere.

With a 43.2 visible screen size and a short 8 ms response time, the display not only qualifies for home office and office applications, but also for gamers. A 270 cd/m2 luminance and a 600:1 contrast will ensure clear images on the TFT screen. The maximum resolution of 1280 x 1024@75 Hz, 16.2 million displayable colors, and a low 37 W (max) power consumption also fulfil the quality demands of ambitious users.

The TFT LCD 172S is now available at all European AOC distributors.
