WinTV-HVR-950 Hybrid TV Receiver available for PCs, Notebooks

Hauppauge announces the addition of the pocket-sized WinTV-HVR-950 Hybrid TV Receiver to its WinTV family of PC-based home entertainment system applications. Whether at home or on the go, you can now use your PC or laptop to watch and record your favorite analog or digital TV shows with one click.

The WinTV-HVR-950 Hybrid TV Receiver allows users to watch and record analog cable TV or the new ATSC HD digital TV on a PC or laptop screen. The HVR-950 also includes a portable digital antenna to receive digital TV while travelling. The WinTV-HVR-950 includes Hauppauge's WinTV2000 application for watching and recording TV in a window or a full-sized screen using high-quality MPEG-2. If users live in an area that receives both analog and digital TV, they can switch automatically between analog and digital channels, and the WinTV-Scheduler allows recording favorite analog or digital TV shows on a daily, weekly, or once-only schedule to play back to any screen at any time.
