HIS delivers silent solution with the X1600Pro Silence

HIS has released its latest version of the ATI X1600Pro, the HIS X1600Pro Silence 512/256MB.

With the X1600Pro Silence HIS have implemented a massive double slot passive heat sink, which cools the video card without requiring a fan hence making the video card silent during use.

The rest of the specifications are practically identical to that of its sibling, the HIS X1600Pro.
The card runs at a standard clock speed of 500MHz, a choice of either 512 or 256MB of 128bit 4-channel DDR2 memory running at 800MHz. The X1600Pro silence has 12 pixel pipelines, 5 vertex shaders, 8 geometry pipelines and supports shader model 3.0 and ATI's Avivo technology.

The X1600Pro Silence also has Dual-DVI and a TV out, this in combination with the passive heatsink make this card ideal for anyone wanting to build a silent PC or multimedia centre.
