X-bit labs has received information that at least one of ATI's partners is planning to release an AGP version of the X1950pro card. A few online stores have began taking pre-orders on a Gecube X1950 Pro AGP, prices hover between 225 and 250 euro's at some german shops. The Gecube Card has also surfaced at Overclockers.co.uk for a price of £ 187.99 incl. VAT.
The card is a complete version of the X1950 Pro chip with 256MB of GDDR3 memory and uses a bridge chip to convert the PCI-Express signal into a AGP signal. WIth the offering of a X1950 Pro as an AGP card it seems that ATI does have the fastest AGP card in shops at the moment.
