Sony today announced the latest addition to the iconic VAIO range: the culmination of inspired collaboration with the Sony Design Centre Europe. The new flagship C-series offers greater freedom of choice through a range of colours as well as an improved technical choice providing consumers with the latest applications on the market.
The C-Series is available in a range of expressive mood colours to complement your style and look:
* a silver white model for the modern, sophisticated men or women who want to reflect calm, cool, karma
* a pink model for the free spirit who likes to be noticed
* a green model for the explorer who wants to feel at one with nature
* a grey and orange model for the jet-setting nomad
* a black model with burgundy trim for the person who wants the classic understated look that offers timeless elegance
To complete the look with panache, you can pair your choice of notebook with an equally distinctive carrying case created exclusively for VAIO by trendsetting Italian bag designer Mandarina Duck. The stylish range is available in pink, green, white and black to suit your choice of C-Series.
The C-Series is as powerful and versatile as it is stylish. All models feature the latest generation Intel CoreTM 2 Duo processors for unparalleled performance allied with excellent battery life. A full 1GB of DDR2 SDRAM (expandable to 2GB) is standard across the range, and there is a choice of 100GB or 120GB Serial ATA hard disk depending on the model. A Multi-format Dual Layer DVD±RW/RAM optical drive is also standard on all models.
The C-Series features a 13.3-inch widescreen display operating at 1280 x 800 WXGA resolution. Sony X-black LCD screen enhancement boosts the contrast and breathes life into colour for outstanding image quality, whatever the application. Depending on the model, the display is driven by NVIDIA GeForce 7400 graphics or the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 that forms a part of the Intel 945GM Express motherboard chipset.
