OCZ has annouced another product in their nVidia certified "Platinum" memory line. The new PC2-8500 Platinum modules operate at 1066 MHz on timings of 4-5-5 and have received nVidia's SLI certification. The modules are built with an EPP (Enhanced Performance Profile) programmed SPD, which elimates the need for manual configuration in the BIOS when paired with an nVidia chipset motherboard.
"OCZ is dedicated to delivering the fastest solutions, and the new 1066MHz SLI-Ready memory modules are the latest addition to our EPP featured lineup," Dr. Michael Schuette, VP of Technology Development at OCZ Technology. "These new modules are cross certified by NVIDIA and feature a perfect combination of high speed and aggressive, tight timings for the ultimate stability and maximum overclockability."
All PC2-8500 Platinum SLI-Ready modules are 100% hand-tested for quality assurance and feature platinum-mirrored XTC (Xtreme Thermal Convection) heatspreaders for the most effective heat dissipation. Furthermore, each OCZ PC2-8500 module is backed by OCZ's Lifetime Warranty and technical support.
