According to various websites performance PC manufacturer Voodoo PC has been acquired by the second largest PC-builder in the world, HP. According to Rahul Sood from Voodoo PC talks have been going on since July this year, and they have spoken to other OEM's as well. HP was chosen as this seemed to best partner for Voodoo PC, one of the main reasons being the large R&D budget that HP has.

According to Rahul Sood Voodoo PC will remain a seperate entity within the HP company, similat to the construction set up earlier this year between Dell and Alienware.

A PDF file about the acquisition can be found on HP's website .
