Daily Tech reports that AMD has issued a notification that it will stop manufactering some socket 939 Opteron server and workstation processors. It concern models 144, 146, 148 and 148HE, the last date that these can be ordered will be march 25th 2007, the last day that these will be shipped is September 30th 2007.

Earlier this year AMD already announced that they have stopped socket 940 Opteron production and various socket 939 and socket 754 production.
