HIS releases X1650 pro IceQ AGP

Today HIS announces a new addition to their graphics card line-up. The HIS X1650 Pro IceQ is an AGP card based on ATI's X1650 3D chip with 256MB or 512MB of DDR2 memory. The card sports HIS' IceQ cooling technology, which draws in air from the outside of the case to cool down the chip and the memory, allowing higher clockspeeds and better performance.  HIS claims that with this cooler the cards runs 11 degrees cooler than with the standard cooler and that the noise level is kept below 20dB. Next to better performance the cooler is UV-sensitive, making it attractive for users with a case window. 

The card is shipping now to vendors, so it should be available in shops soon. A price has not yet been disclosed.
