Microsoft Windows Vista retail on January 30th 2007

Some time ago speculations about the official lauch of Microsoft Windows Vista and Microsoft Office 2007 popped up all over the internet. Today the actual date has been announced for the release of both new products.

Volume license holders will be able to order both Vista and Office 2007 from November 30th onwards, where retail customer can buy both products from January 30th 2007 onwards. The buildnumber of Vista will be 6000, version number 6.0, according to information received by Dailytech. 

Pricing for Windows Vista will range from $199/$99 (full/upgrade) for Vista Home Basic to $399/$259 for Vista Ultimate. Prices for Office 2007 start at $149 for Office Home and Student 2007 and top out at $499/$329 (full/upgrade) for Office Professional 2007.
