HP has introduced a wireless optical mouse designed for use with notebooks and laptops. When the mouse is not in use, it fits in to the PC card slot of the notebook where it will recharge when stored

As the name indicated, the mouse uses Bluetooth technology to communicate with the notebook, which elimated the clutter of cables and frees up USB ports. When the mouse has been connected to the notebook it will be automatically reconnected the next time, as the notebook will synchronise with the mouse.

The mouse can be used at a maximum distance of 10 meters, making it very usefull for presentations. After use it can get stored away and recharged, ready for the next time you need it. When fully charged the mouse should last around 10 hours, according to HP.

The HP Bluetooth PC Card Mouse can be used with all HP notebooks that have a PC card slot and Bluetooth technology. The mouse is available from the first of November for a price of € 49.
