DailyTech claims to have recieved new Intel roadmaps that outline Intel's value desktop products. New to Intel's value desktop lineup will be Conroe-L based processors. The new models will not be named "Core XX", but will carry the names of Pentium and Celeron.

The "Pentium" Conroe-L will receive an E1000 processor number, and three of these will be available at launch. The E1060 runs at 1.8GHz, the E1040 at 1.6GHz and the E1020 is clocked at 1.4GHz. All the E10XX series sport 1MB of L2 cache, EM64T and the Execute disable bit. The models will have an 800MHz front side bus and will not support Hyperthreading, Virtualization or Speedstep technologies.

In the roadmap supplied there is very little information on the Celeron Conroe-L, apart from that it will have a 533MHz FSB and 512KB of L2 cache. Also the pricing of the value range is not known at this point in time.
