When you buy an ATI Radeon X1900 GT in the near future, you can't be sure that you get exactly the product we've reviewed some time ago. Just a few days after nVidia's launch of the GeForce 7900 GS our friends down at Beyond3D spread the rumour that ATI is planning to change the specs for the X1900 GT. The clock frequency of the GPU will be lowered a little (from 575 to 512 MHz) but that's the only bad news. The memory gets a speed increase (from 600 to 660 MHz), the new card will be HDCP compatible and ATI will mount a quieter cooler on the card. It's not yet clear when the new GT cards will hit the market; ATI has yet to confirm the rumour.
