Dell announced the introduction of two new performance-enhanced flat panel displays. The Dell UltraSharp 17-inch 1707FPV and 19-inch 1907FPV both offer the latest flat panel technology and are available now for € 284,- and € 344,- including VAT & delivery.
The new UltraSharp flat panel displays provide outstanding screen performance with the 1707FPV having approximately 31 percent1 more viewing area than Dell's 15" flat panel displays, and the 1907FPV showing 25 percent2 more viewing area than Dell 17" flat panel displays.
The 1707FPV and 1907FPV offer improved panel specifications with high contrast ratio, wide viewing angle and high resolution, resulting in excellent colour accuracy and uniformity. Both monitors also feature fast response times3 and less smearing and ghosting4 than traditional flat panel displays.
Ideal for consumer and business users alike, these monitors are designed to fit into most working environments and can be easily detached from their stand for desk or wall-mounting capabilities. Both monitors are designed for comfort and convenience with height adjustability (130mm up or down), swivel (50 degrees left or right), rotate (90 degrees) and tilt (4 degrees forward and 20 degrees back).
Technical specifications for the Dell UltraSharp 1707FPV and 1907FPV displays include:
- High contrast ratio - 1500:1 for the 1707FPV and 1000:1 for the 1907FPV (typical)
- High-Resolution - 1280x1024 resolution
- Wide viewing angle of 178 degrees (vertical), 178 degrees (horizontal) for the 1707FPV and 170 degrees (vertical), 170 degrees (horizontal) for the 1907FPV (typical)

- 4 x USB 2.0 high speed ports
- 1707FPV has a response time of 25 milliseconds typical (black to white)
- 1907FPV has a response time of 20 milliseconds typical (black to white)
