EIZO's S1961, 19" screen with bezels of only 6.9 mm

EIZO's new S1961 monitor impresses with side bezels that are 50% narrower than older SlimEdge LCD monitors. Making conventional 19" screens look truly clumsy in comparison. This new standard in compact monitor design is especially beneficial in multi-screen applications. The relatively inconspicuous, ultra-narrow bezels dividing up the desktop display make it much easier to focus on the content of the screens. A real benefit for call centres and trading software users in banking and stock exchange environments.
The S1961's technical features guarantee brilliant image quality - horizontal and vertical viewing angles of 178°, maximum brightness of 250 cd/m², dark background contrast up to 1500:1. The screen performs best at a native resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels. And, most importantly, a built-in sensor adjusts screen brightness to ambient brightness levels whenever required. All characteristics that allow users to work in comfort and without fatigue.

The S1961's stand can be adjusted for both portrait and landscape orientation. The display can be swung through 70° to the left and the right, and tilted up to 30° back from the vertical. Another advantage when used in a multi-screen set-up; a VESA attachment point makes the monitor easy to fix to articulated mounts or table mounts. This requires removal of the stand, which is no problem as the power supply is integral to the monitor itself.

The S1961 offers both an analogue and a digital interface. Even though digital graphics cards are now in common use, their analogue counterparts have yet to disappear completely.

The device is covered by EIZO's 5-year warranty and on-site exchange service. The EIZO FlexScan S1961 is available as from the beginning of September at an advised enduser price of € 575.- (incl. VAT).
