OKI expands B6000 range with new B6300 models

The Series now comprises of 6 printers: the B6200, B6200n, B6200dn, B6300, B6300n, B6300dn; all designed to maximize productivity and provide reliable, high speed printing for a range of businesses, from professional individuals through to small workgroups and SMEs.

The B6300 delivers the perfect balance of quality and durability and is an ideal printing solution for stand-alone professionals. With Adobe Postscript 3 compatibility for high quality image reproduction, users will now be able to print a greater variety of documents including reports and manuals. The printing of such large documents is further supported by an impressive 34ppm print speeds in true 1200 x 1200 dpi, and a heavy-duty processor powered by a high standard of memory (128MB - upgradeable to 640MB).

B6300 Series key features summary:

• Greater productivity: 34ppm print speed; fast time to first print - just 8.8 seconds; 150,000 page monthly duty cycle, straight paper path minimizes paper jams and enhances media flexibility; 350MHz processor - 128MB RAM (upgradeable to 640MB) for faster processing speeds and the handling of larger documents

• Media flexibility: from address labels and CD labels to envelopes, 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution, second tray 550 sheets, optional duplex unit, Adobe Postscript 3 compatibility

• Flexible paper handling: up to 1,800 sheets maximum input (700 as standard) and output capacity of 500 sheets face down, 70 sheets face up.

The B6300 will have an estimated street price of €499 and will be available through OKI Printing Solutions' authorized resellers from Aug 07 2006.
