Scythe has released a new CPU cooler in the Katana series, this model fully made of copper. The heatsink is suitable for all current CPU sockets, apart from the new AM2 socket by AMD. The cooler is supplied with a fan controller that fits in a free PCI slot of your case, the fan itself is adjustable from 1200 to 2500 RPM, and according to Scythe will not produce more than 32 dB in the highest setting.

With 92mm fan attached and the heatsink material is All Copper, overall weight of the cooler is ONLY 590g! This cooler is ideal for both users seeking for an upgrade for their current CPU or for systems builder to integrate into their PC systems to build a silent PC system. With the unique angle (70 degree) construction of the All Copper Katana CPU Cooler, the cooler can also cool the components on the mainboard to prolong its life and keep your PC system stable (subject to fan mounting & airflow direction).

With the special mounting clips provided with All Copper Katana CPU Cooler, users are able to mount this cooler in the best position based on the airflow and set-ups inside the PC case. (For socket 370/462, limited to 2-way mountable design)

Scythe's engineering team has sought the best balance for value, silence and performance to design the All Copper Katana CPU Cooler. All of our effort and knowledge is put into this cooler to introduce the best value CPU cooler for all the features mentioned above!
