Brother's latest flatbed laser all-in-ones have a range of new features packed into one compact machine to help the user work more efficiently.

Unique to this price range (SRP: £359.99-£479.99 inc VAT) is the new automatic duplex (double-sided) print, copy and scan feature. This enables the user to save time and effort by removing the need to manually turn the paper over. Unlike most copy functions in an all-in-one, it also means that sorting and collating can be achieved in duplex. Brother estimates that duplex printing can cut paper costs by 35%, as well as benefiting the environment.

The MFCs* in the range are also Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) compatible, enabling documents to be faxed or emailed directly from the machine, without having to access a PC.

Another new feature is ‘scan to FTP'. This enables the user to scan a document and save it to a shared network. Storage and access privileges can be set up making it simple for files to be accessed externally via the internet.

The LDAP and scan to FTP feature are exceptional value-added extras at this price point (buying LDAP software independently could cost anything up to around £130).

Lesley Howe, Brother's customer marcoms manager says: "These stylish and compact machines provide an ideal space-saving solution for those requiring a desktop machine, and saves time walking to and from a shared printer.

"In keeping with Brother's track record in the all-in-one market, this latest range features a very strong range of added value features - for example LDAP compatibility - at no additional cost."
