Tagan, the young, innovative brand renowned in the market for its quality and stability has once again raised the bar in the power supply unit market. To date, Tagan has always been at the forefront in providing the latest features and technology to support the latest components and standards.

Cebit 2006, Tagan unveiled its flagship product line; Turbojet series. The Turbojet series will consist of two models, a 900 watt (TG900-U95) & 1100 Watt (TG1100-U95). Both models will incorporate DDT (Dual Transformer Technology), the world's first PSU to feature dual transofrmers. DTT ensures additional support for the high in-rush current by splitting the current rails, offering greater power and stability to those power hungry components. In addition, the PSU becomes more efficient hence the system as a whole becomes cooler and quieter and the lifespan of the components is lengthened. Once again Tag has taken the steps to patent this latest development as they did with the intelligent 20-24 pin & 4-8 pin motherboard connectors.

The Turbujet series features four integrated six pin PCI Express connectors, designed to support NVIDIA's latest offering, Quad SLI. The quality and stability has already been demonstrated at Cebit with all seven of NVIDIA Quad-ALI partners' demo systems powered by the TG900-U95 throught the seven days. Tagan was also delighted to support Foxconn with ther Quad-SLI rig at the show.

In terms of availability, Tagan will be shipping the Turbojet 900 & 1100 watt as of the 7th day in April. However, due to limited availability, it will initially only be made available to those seven Nvidia Quad SLI European launch partners. The Turbojet series will be made available through retail around May / June, with a unique packaging as per photo, a leader brief case, practical and environmentally friendly.
