Available in 380W, 430W, 500W and 550W models, Neo HE features universal input with active Power Factor Correction (PFC). Its improved circuit design and 0.99 power factor result in an environmentally friendly power supply that saves energy and has positive effects across the power grid. Since the PSU generates less heat than traditional power supplies, a slow turning, single 80mm fan keeps Neo HE cool at a less than 18dBA noise level, as independently tested to ISO Standard 7779.
The power supply also features an advanced cable management system, reducing system clutter by allowing builders to use only needed cables. The elimination of unused cables improves internal airflow and helps keep the system cool. Neo HE's design also features dedicated voltage outputs, triple independent +12V output circuits and voltage feedback circuitry to maintain tighter 3% voltage regulation. Additionally, the 500W and 550W models are EPS12V compatible and offer dual PCI-Express graphics card power connectors.
"Neo HE was specifically designed to be environmentally friendly," said Scott Richards, Antec worldwide vice president of sales and marketing. "With today's soaring gas prices, we realise people are looking for ways to conserve energy - Neo HE helps them do that. The efficient design saves the end user energy and makes their home and office computing environment quieter than ever. Even the packaging is environmentally friendly. Neo HE delivers the stability and power high-performance PC systems require, while saving the user money and minimising the global environmental impact."
