Toshiba Announces Elegant and Mobile Version of Popular Qosmio AV Notebook Computer
New Qosmio F45-AV412 Enhances Digital Experience with Adoption of HD DVD-ROM and Dolby Surround Sound for Less Than $2000
Toshiba's Digital Products Division today announced the Qosmio F45-AV412 audio-video notebook computer - a 15.4-inch notebook computer with an HD DVD-ROM drive and Dolby surround sound technology.
The Qosmio F45-AV412 has a striking piano-key white glossy finish and is smaller than previous models in the Qosmio series, with a starting price of $1,649.
The notebook is built around a 15.4-inch diagonal widescreen TruBrite display and an integrated HD DVD-ROM drive to allow users the chance to watch high definition content on their notebook's display. Users can also connect the Qosmio's HDMI port to a High Definition TV to expand the functionality of their home entertainment center. Once connected to an HDTV, the Qosmio F45 can deliver a 1080i movie with all of the quality users expect from HD DVD.
Furthermore, the F45 features two Harman Kardon Bass Reflex stereo speakers, a built-in subwoofer and Dolby Home Theater technology, a suite of audio technologies such as Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Live, Dolby Pro Logic II, Dolby Headphone and Dolby Virtual Speaker.
Lastly, the Qosmio F45-AV412 includes a built-in webcam and support for the draft 802.11n wireless protocol, which delivers transfer speeds up to five times4 faster than the previous 802.11g standard.
The Qosmio F45 is available at www.toshibadirect.com, as well as a variety of major consumer electronics and computer stores nationwide.
