MSI's new budget DirectX 10 video card: 8400GS with PureVideo HD

MSI has announced the MSI NX8400GS series. The new graphic cards are based on the nVidia 8400GS GPU, which are the lowest cost DirectX10 solutions at the moment and will be available with both passive or active cooler. The MSI NX8400GS-TD256EH is a passive cooled, low profile graphic card that is ideal for multimedia purposes. With the PureVideo HD Technology it is possible to play HD-DVD and Blu-Ray in high quality and using less CPU and power. With this technology entry level systems are able to play high definition videos. Other multimedia features are HDCP and HDMI support through DVI.
