Gigabyte introduces DTX mainboard
Gigabyte has just introduced their first motherboard based on the DTX standard for home servers. The new "Chruchill" motherboard is to be used in AMD’s Live! Home Media Server platform, allowing home users to run their own server for data, streaming media, communication, etc.

The new board supports AMD's socket AM2 processors, and is based around the SiS761GX north and SiS966 south bridges. The board features an integrated Mirage 1 graphics chip, a PCi-Express x1 slot, one conventional PCI slot, eight USB 2.0 ports and six SATA 1.5GB/sec ports and high definition sound. An optional TPM security chip can be placed on a seperate header.
The Churchil board is expected in Juli, however pricing has not yet been disclosed.
