XFX/Pine has been prohibited to use the packaging that shows the dog with the letters EVGA in its mouth, as we posted a little while back. XFX can get a fine of  € 250.000 if it does not change the picture, as EVGA claims that XFX is using their name without permission.

As we stated in the previous newsitem about this picture it only concerns the boxes of the XFX GeForce 8600GT, and the verdict means that these cards will not be allowed to be sold in the region of Muchen, Germany in he current form.

EVGA has asked all retailers in Germany to stop selling the XFX GeForce 8600GT in this box, and has asked websites that have the specific pictures on their pages to remove them.
