Dell is introducing two new 19 inch TFT's in the ultrasharp series today. The Ultrasharp 1908FP and the S1908FP. Both have a resolution of 1280 x 1024, 800:1 contrast ratio and a 5ms response time. An analogue (D-SUB) and DVI connections are present on both screens, and the DVI connection supports HDCP (High-bandwith Digital Content Protection). The screens also sport a 4 port USB hub.

The SP1908FP differs in only two aspects from the slightly more expensive 1908FP, the screen can not be swivelled or rotated and the SP1908FP has a shiny glare coating on the screen that should enhance the image.

The screens are available now, prices are US$ 309 for the 1908FP and US$ 289 for the SP1908FP.
