Microsoft has admitted that the Xbox 360 may cause scratches on game discs. Earlier on the company rejected complaints, but revokes now the Dutch TV program Kassa has received over 1,000 complaints. Hardware.Info investigated the problem of the scratching Xboxes for Kassa. An English subtitled clip of the original Kassa broadcast is available through Google Video.

For months Microsoft kept stating that disc damages were caused by user errors. Hardware.Info however found out that scratches can be caused because of the lack of cushions around the optical lens.
