The second quarter of 2007 sees GIGABYTE come to the party with its long-awaited Odin series of power supply units. On the Odin line-up are two series : Odin Pro and Odin GT, each group consisting of 550W, 680W and 800W models.

Looking at the Odin GT PSU it looks like any other, however the GT has an embedded software management solution that constantly monitors and manages output voltages and load on each rail, power fan speed tweak, localized or preset temperature monitors, power supply lighting control, proximity warning bells and even present user modes for performance, normal use or silent operation.

The Odin comes with four 12V rails, cable management system, japanese capacitors and a 14cm dual ball bearing fan. Gigabyte promises an efficiency of 80%+ on the Odin series of PSU's.

The new models should be available soon, pricing however has not yet been announced.
