Apacer introduces a new 4GB Class 6 and 4/8GB Class 2 SD High Capacity (SDHC) flash cards. Apacer 4GB Class 6 SDHC cards answer the ever-expanding bandwidth demands of digital video and photography with 6MB/sec write speed while Apacer 4/8GB Class 2 (2MB/sec) cards offer large storage capacity. These new products offer storage hungry high-resolution cameras, camcorders and multimedia products the faster and higher capacity flash storage they demand.
Compliant with SD Spec Ver. 2.0, Apacer SDHC cards utilize the FAT 32 file system to dramatically increase storage capacity and data transfer speed. Apacer SDHC flash cards support ECC error detection and correction to ensure data integrity, CPRM (Content Protection for Recordable Media) rights management technology, and wear leveling for extended product life. The mechanical write protection switch prevents accidental deletion and overwriting of valuable data. Support for ISP mode firmware loading enhances programmability, SDMI compliance allows playback of copy-protected music, and auto stand-by and sleep mode reduce power consumption to extend device battery life.
